Well known poet,Intellectual and Broadcaster Mukhtiar Malik

Mukhtiar Ahmed Malik was born on 21 December 1959 at Khairpur. He is well known poet, literary figure and Director of Radio Pakistan(Pakistan Broadcasting corporation). He did M.sc and MA Sindhi from sindh university, MA Journalism from Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur with 1st position. He has been serving as a Producer Pakistan Broadcasting corporation (Radio Pakistan) Rawalpindi,Khairpur and Hyderabad, Most of the time of his service has been at radio Pakistan Khairpur, nowadays he is performing duties (working) as Station Director Radio Pakistan Multan. He has introduced many singer, artists, comperes, announcers, poets and writers of Khairpur has been at radio Khairpur. He personally took steps to bring female announcers on Radio. He is included in the poets and of new generation. He has written poems on almost all the branches of poetry especially in Gazal.

Among his books ''Tim Tim Tandana (1980),Amawas Mein Ba Sojhro(poetry),Such schal Mein (research work).

He served as Secretary General of Sindhi Adabi sangat (1999 to 2000) and received excellence award from Pakistan broadcast ing Corporation.
