Fozia soomro world famous Sindhi artist and singer
World famous Sindhi artist, singer fozia soomro was born at Tando Muhammad Khan, Her ancestors belonged to Tharparker. She made her residence at naseem nagar Qasimabad Hyderabad. At the age of sixteen she started singing secretly in getherings as her family was religious minded. She was introduced at Radio Pakistan with the efforts of producer Naseer Baig Mirza, who recorded his two songs be qadra qadr na kayee and chade wai chade waya

These songs became super hit and her name reached in every corner of Sindh. Her songs are wealth for all the people of Sindh. She sang so many thari, marwari, udru & seraeki songs to prove ler love with the language which is the language of desert of Tharparker. Cassette companies also released her volumes, she was booked for programmes, parties, birthdays, marriages, and other gathering. Ustad majeed Khan and Ghulam Hissain kaleri were her teachers music. Her countless cassette are the proof of her fame in which she has sung romantic songs of different poets especially Bilawal otho, Ali Muhammad uderai, zaman khaskheli. She received many medals and awards from cassette companies, Radio Pakistan and Pakistan television corporation (PTV) for her art. She died on 4th September 2004 due to kidney diseases.
